If you book me for a wedding or a weekend shoot, you will eventually get to meet my awesome, handsome, husband/assistant/webmaster, Justin.  An engineer by trade and a blogger by raw talent, he’s the guy behind the scenes who keeps me sane and organized. Plus he’s tall and can reach all kinds of things I can’t!

That’s us in the title photo at one of my first weddings (my hair looks awesome I know). We have a lot of fun together at photo shoots, and I hope my clients do too! I would try to describe exactly how much Justin helps me during sessions, but I’ve acquired a pretty great collection of outtakes over the years that show off his amazing skills. It would be wrong to keep them all to myself, right?

“Justin, how many people can we fit in this frame?”

Justin can make any child laugh, and would never allow one drop of rain to fall on our bride’s dress.

Me: “Can you like, think of a way keep the dog between the chairs?
Justin: “No problem.”

On the right- I asked Justin if my posing idea would get the clients soaking wet… he found out it would.

On the left- Doing the very important job of, um, ok fine. I admit it! The point of this photo is that my
husband looks like James Bond and that makes him the hottest assistant ever.
