Sitting here in my studio with the heater on blast makes me miss the fall, with its perfect weather, beautiful light, and open windows. I had the privilege to photograph some new friends’ engagement session when the leaves were at the height of their color.

Katie and Christian are so cute together and are total naturals in front of the camera. They met at my husband Justin’s alma mater, Clemson University, so they have to be great people, right?

We spent the session exploring the Captiol grounds and the US botanic garden. Washington DC does not disappoint in the fall– we had some great color and light. Congratulations you two!
