I recently had the pleasure to photograph Brittany Kramer, a home-staging and design consultant. She owns Beautiful by Design on Capitol Hill. Check her out if you’re getting ready to move or just need help choosing paint colors for a new room!

I shot with a mix of studio and natural light for this session to give Brittany some variety, and to make sure she had both professional and fun portraits for all her marketing materials. Creative head shots allow me to use more color and texture than I would for a corporate portrait, as you’ll see in the images below. Brittany even brought along a few clothing options and props, which is always great!

This was one of the last sessions photographed at this studio. I have since moved to a new space (still on the Hill in Washington DC!) and am in the process of getting it ready for new sessions!
